The word "Family" is powerful almost beyond words. "Family" is more a promise about what people can be to each other, or a way of saying what God can create out of ordinary people. That's us. Once, about 1911, we were German Lutherans on the bayou, with some stem-faced photographs concealing a deep and simple love for God.

Now, we are a mix of people; single, married, young, old, seeking, finding. We know that we are brought together by God to be his people for each other. We know that Christ in our midst gives us the strength we need. We know that our church is really a servant, the image of Jesus in the community, with programs and people, hands and hearts dedicated to serving, helping, growing. We are a family. God's powerful, accepting, nurturing love makes us that family. We are the people who want to welcome you, love you, make you a part of the warmth we know, share the love of Christ and the excitement of life with Him. Welcome! Join us! Grow with us!
